AI USE & RIGHTS
How We Make What We Make
Lumicore Productions is an AI-native studio. That means we use artificial intelligence as a primary production tool — for cinematography, character creation, environments, and visual effects. We believe in being straightforward about that because it's central to what makes our work possible and what makes our pricing honest.
What We Use
Our production pipeline includes AI video generation tools, still image generation, AI-assisted audio and music composition, and AI voice synthesis where applicable. All tools are commercially licensed for the production and distribution of original content.
What You Own
On delivery you receive full ownership of the finished films and all deliverables produced for your project. A written licensing summary is included with every delivery documenting every third-party asset used — music, sound effects, visual elements — and the specific rights secured for your use case.
Likeness & Identity
All characters and performers in Lumicore productions are either original AI-generated creations or based on real individuals who have provided written consent. We do not generate recognizable likenesses of real people without explicit permission.
Your Assets & Privacy
Materials you provide — brand assets, reference footage, scripts, or any other proprietary content — are used solely to produce your project. We do not use client materials to train AI models, fine-tune systems, or produce content for any other purpose.
Commercial & Broadcast Clearance
We produce on commercially licensed platforms and secure appropriate licenses for all music and third-party assets based on your specific distribution needs. Web, paid media, and broadcast use are each quoted with the correct licensing tier. Nothing in your delivery is cleared for a use case we haven't explicitly covered in your agreement.
Copyright & Ownership of AI Output
AI-generated content exists in an evolving legal landscape. We stay current with U.S. copyright guidance and structure every project to maximize the protectable human authorship in the work — through creative direction, script, shot selection, editing, scoring, and post production. Our contracts reflect the current state of the law and are reviewed regularly.
Questions
If you have specific questions about our production methods, licensing, or rights — especially if you have legal or procurement requirements — reach out before we start. We'd rather answer those questions upfront than slow down delivery later.
