Every project at Lumicore is written, directed, scored, and mixed in-house — one creative lead from concept through final delivery. The score is built for the picture. The sound design is built for the score. Nothing is licensed onto it afterward.

Lumicore delivers at the quality tier of commissioned production — at the cost and speed of a boutique studio. That means feature-quality finish, original score, and complete sound design without the timeline or vendor chain of a traditional production house.

Fixed-fee by deliverable. No hourly billing, no surprise overages.

    Original score and surround mix are produced in-house. Most studios in this space subcontract both or skip them entirely.

What every project includes

Creative development and shot planning

Broadcast-standard loudness (−23 LUFS) or streaming (−16 LUFS) as specified

Revisions

Two rounds are included in every package.

Round one — shot selects and directional feedback on the assembly
Round two — refinements to the approved cut

Additional rounds are billed at $500 each or 15% of the project fee, whichever is greater. Revisions cover adjustments within the approved creative direction. A change in concept, script, or scope is quoted as new work.

Payment Terms

50% deposit due on signature, before production begins
50% balance due on delivery of final files

Net 15 for individuals and small businesses
Net 30 for agencies and enterprise

Late balances accrue 1.5% per month. Final files are released on receipt of final payment. Deposits are non-refundable once production has commenced.

Usage Rights

Every project fee covers worldwide digital usage in perpetuity — owned channels, social, web, and paid digital.

The following are quoted separately:

Broadcast, cinema, or out-of-home placement — +40%
Full buyout / all-media perpetual — +50–100%
Category exclusivity — +25%

Client receives final deliverable files in the agreed formats. Production files, workflow methodology, and underlying tooling remain the property of Lumicore Productions. Character designs commissioned for a project transfer to the client on final payment unless the project is licensed on a non-exclusive basis.

Lumicore Productions retains the right to display finished work in portfolio, reel, and marketing materials. Where confidentiality is required, a non-display agreement is available at +15% of the project fee.

How It Works

Brief → Quote & Agreement → Deposit → Production → Round One Review → Round Two Review → Delivery

The clearer the brief, the better the outcome. Useful to include: references, brand guidelines, target platform and aspect ratios, tone, audience, and any must-include product or messaging.

Timelines begin on receipt of deposit and approved brief. Delays in client feedback or asset delivery extend the delivery date by the equivalent period.
